The Toyota Racing Series is New Zealand’s premier single seater category. The Toyota series is New Zealand’s only full wings and slick category which gives young up and coming drivers the prefect opportunities to hone their skills before they head overseas. For me the Toyota series is a great learning ground and has given me fantastic experience before I go overseas. It also gives drivers a chance to race for some of New Zealand’s most prodigious motor racing trophies like the Lady Wigram Trophy and the First Grand Prix of the year the New Zealand Grand Prix. With over 200 break horse power and weighting 550kgs with driver it’s a perfect car to learn wings and slicks race craft.
