| On Racing: |
I started karting when I was 8 years old. I moved through the karting ranking, racing cadet, Junior Restricted and Juniors winning various titles on the way through. I had opportunity to race at the Rotax Max World Finals in Spain in 2004. We had a fantastic weekend and finished 3rd, the highest ever place kiwi at the World Finals.
As a result of finishing 3rd at the World Finals I had the opportunity to race in the 2005/06 Formula Ford championship running with the Powerbuilt Racing team supported by Autotek.
In 2006/07 I contested both the Formula BMW Asia Championship and Toyota Racing Series with Meritus. Together we took out both the Rookie Championship and Main Championship in Formula BMW Asia.
In 2007/08 I contested the Toyota Racing Series with International Motorsport we have had a great season winning 10 races throughout the season and finishing a close second in the championship.
